What to Expect?

Be prepared in the event of an emergency with our combined NAUI Rescue Diver and DAN DFA Pro courses, designed for those who wish to elevate their diving skills and emergency response capabilities to new heights. Our comprehensive program is tailored for certified divers ready to take on greater responsibilities in dive safety and emergency management.

In the NAUI Rescue Diver course, participants will learn to manage risks and effectively handle in-water problems and diving emergencies, including assisting and transporting divers, and performing surface rescues and rescues from depth involving both boat and shore-based skin and scuba divers. This course is a crucial step for divers aiming to become NAUI Leaders such as Skin Diving Instructors, Assistant Instructors, Divemasters, or Instructors. It requires divers to be at least 15 years of age, with CPR and First Aid certifications as prerequisites (The DFA Pro Course, which is included in our certification, satisfies this requirement), ensuring that each participant is prepared for the responsibilities that come with advanced rescue operations.

Our program emphasizes the importance of being prepared for any situation, with a focus on accident prevention, stress management, and the application of first aid and oxygen in emergencies. Divers will acquire the knowledge and skills to perform assists, surface and underwater rescues, and effectively manage diving accidents, including victim care and positioning, and accessing emergency assistance. The course covers a broad range of topics, from physical conditioning and physiological factors affecting divers to the management of stress and panic, both in oneself and in others.

By combining the NAUI Rescue Diver course with the DAN DFA Pro course, we offer a unique opportunity to gain comprehensive training in both dive rescue and dive first aid, preparing divers not only to handle emergencies but also to prevent them. This dual certification program is designed to instill confidence in divers, enabling them to take charge in critical situations and contribute to the safety and well-being of their fellow divers.

Join us for an adventure that goes beyond ordinary diving experiences, where you'll learn to navigate the challenges of the underwater world with expertise, vigilance, and a deep commitment to safety. Whether you're looking to advance your diving career or simply to enhance your diving experiences with essential rescue and first aid skills, our combined courses will equip you with the knowledge and confidence to make a difference when it matters most.
