About the event
Join our mission to save our planet!ย
Coral reefs are super important for our planet, kind of like underwater cities full of life. Even though they take up a tiny part of the ocean, they're home to a quarter of all fish and sea creatures. What's really cool is that they help us breathe! The tiny plants living in coral make oxygen when they soak up sunlight, just like trees. In fact, coral reefs give us more oxygen than all the forests in the world! We have partnered with Scubapro and Mote Marine Laboratory on this citizen science experience that includes hands-on restoration work on land and underwater. Lets dive into what our coral restoration trip entails!
Day One: Foundations of Coral Conservation
Our adventure begins at Mote's Elizabeth Moore International Center for Coral Reef Research and Restoration, where you'll be welcomed into the heart of coral restoration efforts. Theโฆ
