Join us for a Shark Tooth Hunt in Venice, FL! This shore dive adventure takes you into the Gulf’s shallow waters, where you’ll search for prehistoric shark teeth scattered along the ocean floor. Afterwards, you can kick back on the beach with your fellow divers & enjoy a delicious BBQ-style lunch.

About the event
Join us for an exciting day of shark tooth hunting at the famous Venice Beach – the Shark Tooth Capital of the World! We’ll meet right on the beach, where we’ll have a pavilion set up with our dive flags, drinks, dive gear, and delicious barbecue waiting for you after the dives.
This is a shore dive, so we’ll gear up on the beach and make a short 100-yard surface swim before dropping down. The dive is shallow, with a maximum depth of about 20 feet. Visibility is usually around 10 feet, which is perfect for this kind of dive because we’ll spend most of our time with our heads buried in the sand, carefully searching for fossils and ancient shark teeth.
After the dive, relax, hang out, and enjoy some good food while we compare fossil finds!
