Explore the Legendary Spiegel GroveGet ready for an epic two-tank adventure in the Florida Keys as we dive the Spiegel Grove—one of the largest shipwrecks in the world, measuring an incredible 510 feet long. Originally a U.S. Navy Landing Ship Dock, the Spiegel Grove was intentionally sunk in 2002 to become an artificial reef. A dramatic twist of fate during the sinking caused her to roll upside down, but she was later righted by the force of Hurricane Dennis in 2005—making her history just as legendary as the dive itself.
Today, this massive wreck is home to schools of jacks, barracuda, colorful tropical fish, and often a variety of sharks patrolling the decks. With two full dives on the wreck, you’ll have plenty of time to explore towering structures, swim-throughs, and the bustling reef life that has claimed the Spiegel Grove as their own.
